Truth and Love

We've all been in awkward situations where truth is shared without love. When some folks decide to be honest, it can be a painful experience to everyone around. But have you ever considered how dangerous it is when love is shared without truth?

It's popular now to be tolerant of every point of view. Peace and harmony are considered an ultimate goal, all supposedly motivated by mutual love. But God's love, the only real love, is never separated from His truth. After all, how can you know God's love is real if you can't trust His word? But God's Word is trustworthy. In fact, it's the only source of real truth. In a world without absolutes we can trust in God and His Word, the standard of absolute truth and love.
