Why Lifetime?
Why Lifetime?
How would you like to have a college professor, mother, philosopher, three different mentors, a fly fisherman, a brother, and a businessman on your personal board of counsel?
You get all of these—and more—in the Gillhams: Bill, Anabel, and Preston.
In the late 1970’s, Bill and Preston—Anabel a bit later—formed what would become Lifetime Ministries: Counseling. Conferences. Audio. Books. Guidance and consulting. True voices and words.
Each coming from their unique perspective, and motivated to condense theology into practical application, the three created arrays of resources to guide your spiritual growth.
No three voices speak more clearly or compellingly about spiritual transformation, why it matters, and how to enjoy spiritual growth than the Gillham’s voices. Unique. Personal. Honest. Relentlessly practical.
Bill and Anabel exited this life entrusting to Lifetime’s archives hundreds of articles and hours of audio and video teaching. Relentlessly focused on why identity in Jesus Christ matters, they applied this spiritual reality to a variety of subjects with their trademark style, humor, and transparency.
In Preston, you have a philosopher, businessman, guide, and author. After working at home and abroad for forty years, his understanding of how faith in Christ works is relevant, thoughtful, and proactive. You can discover more about Preston, here.
If you have not done so, subscribe to Preston’s regular thoughts via the subscription link or the button on the home page.
You are visiting a re-engineered Lifetime Ministries. After Bill and Anabel’s deaths, Lifetime transitioned to other leadership. Preston worked independently as a novelist and leadership guide. But in late 2019, Lifetime returned to the care of Preston and a new Board of Directors.
The world has changed since Lifetime’s original transition in 2008. In the pages of this website, you see evidence of Lifetime’s resurgence.
Delivery methods and models are new, evolving, and emerging. But one thing is unchanged and unchanging: The transforming life of Jesus Christ.
Communicating this message in practical language is what Lifetime does best.
As is true for most ministries, Lifetime’s desired resource distribution and vision are greater than its budget. If your life is enriched through Lifetime’s communication with you, would you join us in advancing our ability to share with others?
If so, we will look after you. Listen to you. Protect you, and your information, and do everything in our power to help you realize your true heart’s desires.
