Java With Friends

A mountain camping trip with my best friends: crisp, cold air... beautiful sunrise... perfect! Except we forgot the coffee pot. We improvise and use a T-shirt as a filter. It was atrocious coffee, but a great time with friends.

You know, if God had been physically sitting beside the fire with us I doubt He would have miraculously turned hot water into coffee. This was a priceless moment: a shared experience of life among friends. What was happening had more to do with relationship than making a good cup of Java.

God is with us. He reaches across the universe in a divine quest to share every moment with us as a friend. It is incredible that God wants to be our friend. But, His Word is clear and the choice is yours. The Question is will you be His friend?
