Is Failure Fatal?

Failure isn't easy to talk about, live with, or get over. I suppose that is why they call it failure. But, as Sir Winston Churchill "the bulldog" said, "Failure is never fatal." However it can be incapacitating if you don't accept Father's invitation to rejoin him in the noble cause of grace.

Does God care that we fail? Sure He does. God is extremely interested in what I do, and, in fact, I have been created to do good works (Ephesians 2:10). But while this is a goal on God's agenda for me, it is not an expectation. That's why I can't disappoint him. Father accepts me, and loves me, and thinks the world of me because of who I am, not because of what I do or fail to do.

Romans 8:1 says, There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." There is nothing you or I can do that will enhance or tarnish God's opinion of us. Let that sink into the crevices of everything you have learned about God and yourself.
