Managing Insecurity

I'm in a manager's meeting and everyone is giving glowing reports-big successes, major improvements, profits and morale all climbing. All of which makes me feel, well...

Insecurity... It can drag you down into self-condemnation and self-doubt. Or, it can cause you to reevaluate the foundations of your life.

You know, a good shaking of our foundations can be a great thing. When the sand of self-effort is shaken loose, what's left is what we should have built upon in the first place... the solid Rock of Jesus Christ. With Christ as our Life we can hold fast to our true identity in Him.

Remember... only Christ, the solid Rock is high enough to satisfy what drives you, and deep enough to anchor you with the security you long for.
